I am supposed to write 6 unspectacular quirks about myself and believe me, they took forever to think of.
1. I have a dental history that would put most to shame. When I was a little girl I fell down our cement porch steps. I not only knocked out my front tooth but I swallowed it as well. I was to young to have a big tooth grow in, so my parents took me to the pediatric dentist and I got a fake tooth. I had that for several years and then went back to the orthodontic when I was in 2nd grade! I got spacers and then braces in 3rd grade- yes I was very young and the only kid that had them. Long story short, two more sets of braces, more retainers and several molds later I was finally done at the beginning of my Jr. year in high school. Needless to say, I wear my retainter almost every night.
2. I pick the mascara off of my eye lashes all the time. Sometimes it feels really heavy or I am just bored. I really shouldn't do it because when I pull off the mascara I usually always pull off eyelashes as well.
3. I am a matching freak! I do not feel comfortable when I don't think I match. I don't typically look at others to see if they are matching, only myself-and Kyle. And no matter what anybody tells me I will never thing that black and brown match together- because they don't. And my pony tail holder will always match what I am wearing as well.
4. In my Jr. adn Sr. year of high school I modeled for a Bridal and Prom dress store called Alysse's Bridal. I was also the fashion representative for the area that I lived in- believe it or not. I was really fun and I even got some cute professional pictures taken
5. Two summers ago I worked as a dental assistant in Rexburg. During that time I was able to assist in a full mouth extraction. We literally pulled out all of this lady's teeth. It smelled, they were rotten, there were pieces of tooth flying everywhere but it was way cool.
6. I don't know if this is a talent or a curse but I am really great at empathizing. I feel like I mentally put myself into the situation the person is going through. The downside of this is that there are times when I just cry and cry for these people that I barely know- it can be quite stressful at times.
I am supposed to "tag" 6 people so they can do it to but I don't really want to. So, if anybody wants to go ahead and post 6 unspectacular things about themselves that would be great!
